昨天是世界艾滋病日，动静记者亲身体验了防艾一线的医务工作，我们来看一下。
Yesterday, December 1st, is the World AIDS Day. Dongjing reporters, in order to acquire a deep observation on AIDS, has joined with frontline medical stuffs on AIDS prevention. What happened during his experience? Let’s take a look?
视频中，医生和患者交流时，轻松自然，没有做特殊防护。有人会说，这是医生的职业素质，但其实，这也应该是我们对待艾滋病患者应有的态度。
With no safeguards preventing infection, doctors want to creat An relaxing atmosphere for AIDs patients. That really touches me. Some may say this is very common considering doctor’s identity. However, this kind of attitude to AIDS patients is so precious that we want more such commonality in our daily life.
贵州的情况如何呢？截止今年10月底，贵州省艾滋病病毒感染者和艾滋病病人超过4万例，疫情形势较为严峻。近年来，贵州出台政策，投入资金，为艾滋病患者提供更好的医疗服务。除此之外，营造良好的社会环境，让他们既能生存，也能更好的生活。
So, how is situation in Guizhou? According to statistics from Health Commission of Guizhou, there are more than 40 thousand HIV-infected patients and AIDS patients in our province. In order to provide better medical service to them, funds and policies have been raised in past few years, which helps them a lot. However, a much better social environment of “zero-discrimination” is urgently needed as well, because that not only helps them survive, but lives a better life.
然而，在世界范围内，艾滋病人的情况并不容乐观。根据联合国艾滋病毒联合规划署披露的信息，世界上大约有五分之一的艾滋病患者因为被歧视而避免就医。这令人十分惋惜。因为尽管艾滋病难以被完全治愈，但通过药物控制，90%人可以达到正常人的寿命。
But the world seems not showing us an optimistic picture to AIDS’ patients’ condition. According to Joint United Nation Programme on AIDS, one in fifth of AIDS patients try to avoid medical treatment for social discrimination, which is a big pity, because 90% of AIDS patients, with proper medical treatment, can reach a normal life expectancy if not completely cured.
所以当我们讨论世界艾滋病日的时候，我还希望大家记住另一个日子，3月1日，世界艾滋病零歧视日。因为零歧视也是帮助艾滋病人的良方。
So when we talk about AIDS near the world AIDS day, lets not forget another day, March 1st , Zero Discrimination day, because zero-discrimination is the best aid to AIDS patients.
